We used Campus Pack for many years, but mainly for blogs and wikis, and dispensed with CP when the Blackboard blog/journal/wiki tools got good enough. There was still a lot of functionality we missed in Campus Pack, but their support got really unsatisfactory so we decided to transition.

We've been using Mahara as an e-portfolio since it was first released. We have mixed reviews here – some don't like the interface, and we have some plans for looking at redesigning the front page at least. But overall we have very good uptake, across multiple schools and disciplines. We have built a work-around our Active Directory so that graduates can continue to use Mahara for professional accreditation and that has been popular. Can't really comment in comparison to the other tools, but for us Mahara has been largely successful.
