Archivist – London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham (maternity cover; p/t 18hrs)

 

Hammersmith & Fulham Archives seek a qualified and experienced Archivist to lead a newly revitalised service for the period of 1 year to cover the maternity leave of its current Archivist. 

You will be a professional archivist with a solid background in archives management and exploitation, and ideally with previous local authority experience.  You will have a good track record of managing volunteers, dealing with a wide variety of customers and partners, and providing a high quality service.

This is a rewarding and exciting post for the right person.  Its 18hrs will be worked over 3 days:  Mondays and Tuesdays are essential, and further half day negotiable.
