Colleagues,

Our student union societies have engaged with Tell MAMA. They are certainly a useful resource in terms of reporting anti-muslim behaviour. One of our societies also recommended the website: http://mend.org.uk/ which has a greater focus on community engagement. Thought it might be worth sharing through this thread.

Warmest Regards

Subject: Anti-Muslim behaviour

Colleagues,

We've picked up on 'Tell MAMA' as a possible external source of support for any staff/students who experience anti-Muslim behaviour in the backlash from the Paris attacks (http://tellmamauk.org/). I don't have a sense of how reputable an organisation they are (although their website looks very reasonable and reputable) and so wondered if anyone may be able to comment? If you're not aware of them (or if you are but wouldn't recommend them!), is there anyone else whom you would recommend as well/instead?

Many thanks
Sara
