I have been aware of them for some time now and have observed only ethical and constructive behaviour on their part. They record any incident of Islamaphobia/hate crimes against Muslims that they are informed of, they started doing so as there was an absence/lack of data on this issue from elsewhere. 

The majority of those who experience Islamaphobia are women between the ages of 16 - 45, the majority of those perpetuating the attacks are white men aged 15 - 35. There's an article in the Independent today citing Tell Mama's statistics. 

I've seen positive comments about the support individuals have received when contacting Tell Mama to tell them about an incident.

We’ve picked up on ‘Tell MAMA’ as a possible external source of support for any staff/students who experience anti-Muslim behaviour in the backlash from the Paris attacks (http://tellmamauk.org/).  I don’t have a sense of how reputable an organisation they are (although their website looks very reasonable and reputable) and so wondered if anyone may be able to comment?  If you’re not aware of them (or if you are but wouldn’t recommend them!), is there anyone else whom you would recommend as well/instead?
