The latest issue of HEPL is now online. In this issue there are original research articles on the role of non-market valuations of a
health care service (by Dorte Gyrd-Hansen), on governance in the Italian health care system (by Sabina Nuti et al.), and on efficiency in the Canadian health care system (by Sara Allin et al.).
There is then a published symposium, guest edited by Albert Weale, on ‘Making fair choices on the path to universal health care’, reflecting
on the publication last year by the WHO. In this special section, in addition to Albert, there are contributions from Alex Voorhoeve , Trygve Ottersen and Ole Norheim; Addis Tamire Woldemariam; Peter Littlejohns and Kalipso Chalkidou; & Benedict E. Rumbold
and James Wilson.
The issue finishes with a review of Miriam Laugesen and Robin Gauld’s book on
Politics and Health Policy in New Zealand, by Martin Powell.
