I have a population of 7 patients with large strokes who I have collected fMRI data from. During the pre-processing phase in SPM12, I was wondering during which phase (segmentation or normalization) to best place the inverted binary lesion mask for each patient. In SPM8, I remember it being included as a 'Weighted' image, but I don't recognize any similar terminology with the SPM12 pre-processing steps.
