Dear Andy,
Try deleting the existing BMS which you are overwriting.

Best,
Peter

Dear Peter and all,

I finished estimating all models. When I did BMS, error message popped out after the graphic window successfully showed FFX posterior probability and log-evidence of each model:

Failed 'BMS: DCM'
Undefined function or variable "BMS".
In file "/Users/ODP/Documents/spm8/config/spm_run_bms_dcm.m" (v4229), function "spm_run_bms_dcm" at line 355.

The following modules did not run:
Failed: BMS: DCM

When I tried to load back some old BMS.mat, they worked smoothly without this error message...
Was there something I missed? I attached my problematic BMS.mat for your inspection.

Best,
Andy

Also, thank you, Peter and Andy, for the discussion and sharing the script.

I also have a question. I have an event-related fMRI. My GLM separated correct and error trials. So the VOI time series for each subject may be different (although the onset of all trials are the same). Will that be a problem for the DCM/your script?

Thanks much,

Ben

Dear Peter and Andy,

thanks for the script.

I have just used it and no problem in specifying models.
Actually, when I try to estimate them from the GUI, or with a script, I have this error message.

Warning: Convergence failure - invoking keyboard.

  In spm_dcm_estimate at 230
  In spm_dcm_ui at 144

I tried to specifying part of the same model space with the GUI and no problem in estimating the models.

The automated specification would help me a lot. Is there anything that I can do to fix this problem?

Best,
Benedetta
