The Centre for Research in Psychology, Behaviour and Achievement at Coventry University is recruiting a Research Associate. This is a permanent research position to work within the Brain, Belief, and Behaviour group. We are a recent but rapidly expanding team of full-time researchers, lecturers, PhD and postgraduate students with a wide network of UK and international collaborators. The post-holder will design and complete experiments using cognitive, neurocognitive and psychophysiological techniques and paradigms. Research will include (though is not restricted to) an examination of psychobiological mechanisms underlying belief, spiritual and contemplative experiences (including meditation), and the association between such beliefs / experiences and mental health. The post-holder will also be expected to assist with the writing of articles and grant applications and to take part in relevant conferences and meetings.
