Hi John
That would work for us too! I can get us a room with data projector and internet. So far it only looks like the week beginning 16th is no good for
us. If you let me know what day suits you, I’ll make the arrangements!
All the best

Hi Marion
Thanks for your interest. October is a pretty busy for me right now but November might be better. By then the toolkit will be pretty advanced and it would be useful to walk through it with you and your colleagues to get further feedback.
For that it would be be better if I came to you - if you have a room with a data projector and internet that would be all we need. Have a think.
All the best
John

Hi John,
We have been looking at your emails about the Clipper project and are finding them very interesting.
However, we have a tight training budget and were wondering if it would be possible for us to come and meet you to talk about it on home ground. After all, we are only up the road!
Can we arrange something, or should it all be in the larger JISC workshops?
All the best,
Marion Kelt

Apologies for Cross Posting
Dear Colleagues
The second Clipper prototype is available (see below) and we hope of interest to those involved in open education the current prototype is now generating web pages with video clips
and annotations that can be shared and stored off-line (the videos stay ay their original location).
Invitation
The Clipper project is developing a free and open source software toolkit to support researchers in all disciplines who work with digital audio-visual media and we extend a warm
invite to attend our upcoming free community consultation workshop at the British Library, London, Monday 26th October,
it starts at 10:00. After the workshop we shall be releasing a third prototype based on the feedback received.
The Clipper toolkit is progressing rapidly in response to the feedback we have been receiving at our community workshops. The choice of HTML for the native system file format is
starting to bring big benefits and we are still exploring the implications and opportunities connected with this decision one of the advantages being that user can 'own' their clipper documents and place them where they like for reuse. You can find out more
about the progress of the project if you visit this page, you can view the latest demonstration videos, project notes and where the second prototype is now available for testing
testing.
