We are pleased to announce that Mr. Roger S. Wieck,
Curator in the Department of Medieval and Renaissance Manuscripts at the
Pierpont Morgan Library in New York, has generously accepted to write the
introduction of our work.
The publications of Roger S. Wieck --“a world authority on medieval Books
of Hours”-- are reference works today, such as Painted Prayers
(Braziller, 1997) or his study on the book of hours of Anne of Brittany (Das
Gebetbuch der Anne de Bretagne, ms. M. 50 of the Pierpont Morgan
Library).
