Hello,

As luck would have it (possibly bad luck :)) I've just handed the first draft of my PhD thesis on the topic of using information based on Social Media data for museum evaluation over to my supervisors this morning. So I would be very interested in seeing the Framework, too.

Also - Elena Villaespesa's work on the same topic is well worth checking out. (Hi Elena if you read this!) Her paper from M&W last spring is very informative:

http://mw2015.museumsandtheweb.com/paper/an-evaluation-framework-for-success-capture-and-measure-your-social-media-strategy-using-the-balanced-scorecard/

... and she's got a great website:

http://artsmetrics.com/en/home/

I hope I'll be able to publish more of my work in more digestible chunks than a giant PhD thesis once I'm out the other side, too.

Cheers,

Dave

Subject: Re: National arts and culture evaluation trial launched - expression of interest

Hello
This is a really interesting project. It would be good to keep up a
discussion here about how digital specialists can contribute to evaluation,
by working better with data, and by contributing generally to evaluating
the quality of cultural experiences.
Is it possible that the actual Quality Metrics framework can be shared
without having to participate in the trial? For example, shared here, on
the GEM list and the Visitor Studies Group list? Then it could be possible
for us to discuss it and feed ideas in to the evaluation of the trial?

Best wishes
Bridget
