'Turning the Bull: Adriaen de Vries's Revolving Pedestal'
Frits Scholten, Senior Curator of Sculpture at the Rijksmuseum, will explore how Adriaen de Vries's ideas about the presentation of his bronze version of The Farnese Bull on a revolving pedestal marked a radical shift in the history of sculptural display.
Followed by a conversation with Conrad Shawcross, chaired by Tim Marlow.
