Hi Joan

At the last HLG conference there was a presentation about this: http://www.cilip.org.uk/sites/default/files/documents/Mary%20Hill.pdf. One of the other talks also mentioned Poll Everywhere https://www.polleverywhere.com/ which doesn’t rely on clickers - people use their phones to text a reply or if they have a smartphone they can go to the web site and answer that way. There is a free version which limits you to 25 responses and you can’t moderate the replies. We’ve used it for FY1 presentations and got a good response. I’d only say the questions have to be interesting, not just using it for the sake of novelty.

Best wishes

Jane

Please can anyone recommend a voting system using hand held devices which can help with interactive presentations that would be useful for Foundation training sessions and Grand Rounds.

Rough idea of costs would be much appreciated as well.

Many thanks
