Hello everyone, thanks to everyone for sending in suggestions for my query about private forums for a mixed institution group. Here are the suggestions I received: Evernote www.evernote.com Yammer https://www.yammer.com and NHS version https://www.yammer.com/nhs.net/ “We use this as a library team and you can add documents, have discussions and are notified when new content is added. An administrator sets up the team so that it is private and confidential.” A barrier for us is that our user group will have different emails as they come different trusts and HE. Zoho https://www.zoho.com/ “They have a free package as well as paid options. You can certainly upload documents, and restrict who sees it etc. Not so sure about discussions…..” NHS Networks https://www.networks.nhs.uk/ Why didn’t I know about this!? Intended as a sharing platform so not sure how private things can be but think this is worth investigating. PBWork http://www.pbworks.com/ KnowledgeHub https://khub.net/home “Supports the public sector and is free to access and use.” Private groups are chargeable Regards, Cheryl. -- *Keep up-to-date with the latest news at the Health Library *- for new resources, service changes, training opportunities* sign-up to our news bulletin <https://feedburner.google.com/fb/a/mailverify?uri=HealthLibraryNews&loc=en_US>* Cheryl Kent, eResources Librarian & NHS Athens Administrator, Tel no: (01782) 679581 At the Health Library for North Staffordshire :: A joint NHS / Keele University Library Service Browse the Health Library <http://www.keele.ac.uk/healthlibrary/> website :: Connect with us via Mobile <http://kimtag.com/ceclibrary> :: Find us on Facebook <http://www.facebook.com/ceclibrary> :: Follow us on Twitter <http://www.twitter.com/ceclibrary> Health Library for North Staffordshire, Clinical Education Centre, University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, Royal Stoke University Hospital, ST4 6QG, Tel no: (01782) 679500 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This email and its attachments are intended for the above named only and may be confidential.
