Many thanks to all who responded...it really is very helpful! Suggestions include:

'Age and Ageing', or 'Health and Social Care in the Community', or 'Working with Older People journal'.

Subject: Journals suitable for publishing Public Health research

Dear All,

A member of our local public health team is hoping to get a couple of papers published. I have been asked what would be the best journal to get this work published, other than the standard public health journals (eg Journal of Public Health).

The research is around the health of older people in the county as a result of climate change, including modelling future scenarios and how to engage the public. So it's a combination of public health/human geography (environmental health) and systems thinking.

It pains me to admit I don't read any of the journals that would cover this topic so I am hoping the collective LIS-MEDICAL brain might be able to help...

Kind regards,

Jill
