Subject: Online forum for library user group ideas

 

Dear All,

 

I am investigating whether there is an appropriate platform that our library user group can use to share and comment on documents and ideas.

 

Our stakeholders include university members and NHS members from a variety of trusts.

 

The platform would need to:

  • allow documents to be added
  • allow forum-type discussions to occur
  • be confidential to the group ie accessible via username / password
  • alert members when new content is added
  • be free (of course) or low-cost
  • be NHS-network friendly

 

Does anyone already provide this type of facility or have experience of doing something similar?

 

Any ideas gratefully received.
