When the Login link is there, you can find out which URL it points to by
hovering your mouse pointer over it, right-clicking it, and choosing
"Copy link location". Might I suggest that organisations that have
experienced problems with the Login link disappearing recently should
copy that link and save it somewhere, perhaps on a library portal page,
and if the Login link disappears again, see if they can use the saved
link instead.

You will need to make sure you save the Login link for your own
organisation; there is a "target" parameter that looks like it's a
unique ID for the organisation.

I don't know if this will work - but think it's well worth a try!
