Dear Isabel,

At its meeting yesterday the Committee for Employment and Learning considered your correspondence dated 17 September 2015, regarding the closure of the School of Modern Languages at the Ulster University.

The Committee agreed to commission a research paper on the nature and impact of the cuts and to request that the Vice Chancellors of Queens University Belfast and Ulster University brief the Committee on the impact of the budget cuts on their course offer.
