Thank you so much Anna !
Installing fsl-5.0-eddy-nonfree was a solution.
Best regards,
- Karl

Dear Karl,
We had the same problem on Debian “wheezy” . We solved the problem by running

sudo apt-get install fsl-5.0-eddy-nonfree

after running

sudo
apt-get install fsl-core

I cannot explain you why it worked, but now we have a fully functional 5.0.9.

Best,

Anna.

We are not able to upgrade our 5.0.7 installation.

 apt-get install fsl-core says :

    Preparing to replace fsl-core_5.0.7-4 .... using fsl-core_5.0.9-1~nd70+1_all.deb

but we still end up with version 5.0.7

I don't know what you mean by "end up". Please post the output of

   apt-cache policy fsl-5.0-core

This will tell you what you ended up with, and what is available to you from where.

If I download from fsldownloads/patches, I select

    fsl-sources-patch-5.0.9_from_5.0.x.tar.gz

When I try to recompile, the build will not start. This message is displayed :

    ./config/common/buildproj not found
You cannot patch the Debian package with this patch.

Cheers,

Michael
