You will help to spearhead the expansion of Confucius Institute team by contributing to teaching and developing all course programmes run by CIBL on campus and in the companies, as well as expanding existing provision for student mobility and income generating
activities. This is an exciting opportunity to take an already successful activity forward through the new decade. We are looking for someone with the vision to create innovative courses for students and staff from LSE and London Business communities and the
determination and experience to make sure they are a success. You will have a PhD degree and a recognised certificate/diploma in teaching Modern Foreign Languages (MFL), as well as experience of teaching MFL within a Higher Education environment. You should
have proven experience of teaching Mandarin Chinese from absolute beginners to advanced levels, experience in teaching international students, and a proven track record in teaching and creating material. You will have the ability to develop subject specific
MFL material for a range of programmes and levels and previous experience of developing web-based material in a VLE. You will also have excellent oral and written communication skills. The other criteria that will be used when shortlisting for this post can
