Dear Colleague,

Is Equality Diversity and Human Rights Yesterday’s Debate?

I write to inform you that the deadline for delegate registration for the above conference is now fast approaching. Therefore, in order to secure you a delegate space, you can complete the attached conference booking form and email the form back to  [log in to unmask]  or register your interest on line via this link https://buyonline.ljmu.ac.uk/browse/module.asp?compid=1&modid=2

Sorry for cross posting if you have received this before and / or have already registered.

We are quite pleased with the interest this event has generated so far having attracted a diverse  range of delegates registered to attend, and truly excited by the prospect of having such a mix of different organisations and individuals for a conference that will have a real impact on our organisations, institutions and communities.

It is such an important issue and topical against the background of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, with the requirement for publication of anti-slavery and human trafficking statements coming into force this October, as well as a proposed EU Directive, which is expected to require certain companies to publish a non-financial statement containing information on how it is addressing human rights, anti-corruption and bribery issues.

We hope you will also register to join us at such a topical event.

For further details, please refer to the attached event brochure or visit: https://www.ljmu.ac.uk/about-us/events/equality-and-diversity-conference

Do feel free to circulate this information to colleagues within your organisation that would benefit from attending the conference.

Kind regards,

Moni
