The 8th Bird Working Group Meeting will take place in University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley, Edinburg, USA, from January 11-14, 2016 and Special Post-Meeting Excursion from January 15-16, 2016. Information and the Call for Papers can be found

and Anthropological Science. All abstracts need to be submitted before October 10, 2015. This is the first time the BWG has held a meeting in the USA, and the chosen location of South Texas is one of the premier birding spots in the nation, boasting
