Hopefully, you should all now have received the notice and papers for the Federation AGM in the post.  Just a reminder to say we’d be very grateful if you could confirm your attendance or send your apologies by 12 October so we have an idea of numbers (essential for catering purposes!)

 

 

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2015

 

The AGM of the Federation of Museums and Art Galleries of Wales will be held at 13.30 on Tuesday 20 October 2015 at Powysland Museum, Welshpool.

 

While the AGM will be between 13.30 and 14.00 Federation members are invited to spend the day at Powysland Museum.  During the morning, the Welsh Museums Festival 2015 will be launched by BBC Wales’ wildlife expert Dr Rhys Jones.  After a light lunch and the AGM, sessions will be held by Hilary McGowan, speaking on alternative management models for museums, and a feedback session on the findings of Welsh Government’s Expert Panel Review.
