Dear colleagues,

The Department of Transport Science, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, is inviting applications for a full-time postdoctoral position in the field of data-driven traffic and mobility management. The position is for two years and will start at the earliest possible time. The research will be centered on the use of data from various mobile and stationary sensors to estimate and predict the performance of the transport systems, and to develop effective strategies to evaluate and optimize the systems. The successful candidate will be involved in a number of projects in the areas of traffic management and public transport operations, and will have an important role in maintaining and developing the capabilities of the traffic database and analysis tools. The applicant is expected to contribute actively in ongoing projects and is encouraged to develop her or his own research ideas with the available data and computing resources.
