Post-doc position: High-field fMRI of number processing at NeuroSpin, France

We are looking for a bright and motivated post-doc to join a research
project related to the representation of number in the human brain which
will use high-field / high-resolution functional fMRI (at 7 Tesla). This
position is available within the INSERM Cognitive Neuroimaging Unit (
www.unicog.org, directed by Stanislas Dehaene), situated at the NeuroSpin
Center in the greater Paris area, and is funded for 2 years within a 4-year
project financed by the French National Research Agency (PI Evelyn Eger).

The ideal candidate will have a background in cognitive neuroscience
(vision, number processing, or a related field). Previous experience in
conducting fMRI research is required (potentially including multivariate
decoding and/or surface-based analysis), and candidates already having
worked with high-field fMRI are especially encouraged to apply. Good
programming skills in either matlab or python will be a strong plus, and
good communicative skills in English (oral and written) are necessary.

The intended starting date for the position is January 2016 or somewhat
later. Formal applications should include a Curriculum Vitae, application
letter with statement of research interests, and the names and contact
information of two to three researchers who would be willing to provide a
reference. Review of the applications will start immediately and continue
until the position is filled. Further questions can be addressed to Evelyn
Eger ([log in to unmask]*)* who will also be attending the SfN Meeting in
Chicago in October this year.
