Dear Lovkush,

I am familiar with the book. We actually give a copy of it to all our 1st year students as they arrive.
It is definitely worth having in your library and on your bookshelf.

Best wishes

Subject: "How to Study for a Mathematics Degree" by Lara Alcock

Dear all,
I just came across a book called "How to Study for a Mathematics Degree" by Lara Alcock, published in 2012. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Study-Mathematics-Degree-Lara-Alcock/dp/0199661324

I've looked at the Preview and it seems like an excellent book. It could prove to be a useful companion for the motivated student doing a maths degree. Seems like a book which ought to be available in university libraries. Does anybody have any experience with using this book?
Regards,
Lovkush
