This is to announce a new project, and to invite your interest and participation.

"Radical Statistics in the Age of Big Data" (RSABD) aims to explore political issues such as power etc. in society, inasmuch as they relate to data issues today and tomorrow. This seems very general but I can send further information if you are interested.

I am writing to ask if you would like to

(a) receive occasional information about this project, and/or

(b) get more involved.

Please just say "Yes (a)" or "Yes (b)", and I will get back to you.

Thanks for this.

A bit more information is below. Please feel free to forward this email to others who may be interested.

JOHN BIBBY pp. JOHN BIBBY and JEFF EVANS

PS: We have obtained a small amount of funding. Apart from project outputs including book(s), we shall be holding several development meetings. The first two of these are as follows:

1. October 2nd 2015 in London

2. February 26th 2016 in York - this is the day before the Radical Statistics Annual Conference, and in the same venue: so you may care to make a 2-day visit to York!

Details of Meeting (2) are not yet decided.

Meeting (1) will be by invitation only, but if you would like to be invited then please let me know.
