Position: Fundraising Manager, full time
Reporting to: Creative Director
Pay: £29k - £32k p.a. depending on experience
Contract: Permanent
Techniquest is a leading science discovery centre with a worldwide reputation for excellence and innovation. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join the team as Fundraising Manager focusing on developing relationships with potential major funders such as premier organisations, trusts, foundations and high net worth individuals. Working with senior colleagues and others in a team the aim will be to find synergies between their aims and Techniquest’s mission, translating these into income that benefits the charity’s work throughout Wales.
You should be a confident and an excellent communicator, able to motivate yourself and your colleagues, possess excellent presentation and writing skills and demonstrate proven success managing relationships at a senior level. A track record of identifying, pitching and securing new support in a fundraising or sales environment is highly desirable though it may be that you have gained experience in a senior management position that has enabled you to network extensively and are now looking for a career change.
