Dear colleagues,

*With apologies for cross-posting*

We are pleased to announce the new four day training course Introduction to Multivariate Ecological Statistics at the University of Oxford starting 02 November 2015.

The course will cover inferential statistics with the statistical programming language R (using Rstudio) and will focus on how to import, visualise and analyse data.

The core emphasis is on statistical applications rather than the use of R, but the first day provides the opportunity for students to become familiar with the software. The remaining three days summarise the role of experimental design and sampling, from small scale factorial to landscape scale correlative studies and introduce more complex analytical approaches used in the exploration, analysis and interpretation of a wide range of experimental designs, data types and spatial/temporal scales.

An early booking rate is available until 30 September 2015.

Please visit www.conted.ox.ac.uk/mes<http://www.conted.ox.ac.uk/mes> for further information and how to register.

We would be grateful if list members would share this announcement with colleagues, students and associates for whom it will be of interest.
