Hmm, are you adjusting the brightness/contrast settings? You shouldn't need to do that. I ask because I notice in your screenshot that the minimum is 0 and the maximum is 1 (which in this case shouldn't be a problem, but it should open with 0.95 and 1 by default).

I have been able to reproduce your problem though - are you perhaps not following the instructions as given in the wiki? Only the basestruct image should be set to mask/label. If set the corrp image to mask/label as well, it won't display the significant areas. This should be set to "Statistic" (which is the default for me for this image).

I just realized that, although I am using the FSL version 5.0.8, the FSL view  is using the version 4.0.1. Maybe the problem rely on this fact? If so, how could I fix it? I downloaded the whole package and FSL opens FSL view with this old version by default.
