My experience has been that “bet on bet” doesn’t help. If you use a parameter (or default) like –f two times in a row, you end up with the same image both times.
However, I also have found sometimes that bet with one set of parameters (like –c) gets the brain extraction part of the way, and then bet with a different –f does better than if it was applied without first doing the –c; and that combing the two in a
single step did not result in the same output as doing them in separate steps.
But, doing bet –f .25 and then bet –f .5 generally gets the same as just doing one bet –f .5.

For some reasons "bet" tool is unable to remove the whole extra brain tissue even though I used very high threshold like (0.8)
Is it correct if I do bet on bet. In other words, is it correct if I do bet twice on the same image?
For example if I have structural images "image1" then after applying bet I will have "image1_brain" then can I do bet again on this image to get "image1_brain_brain" ?
