Dear Hein,

Here is some information on child bilingual acquisition studies. In
particular, on studies carried out with bilingual twins. In this case the
research has been carried out under chomskian generativist framework.

Dear Hein

here are some articles and information perhaps of use for you or others:

I do not know if you are familiar with the work of Roma Chumak-Horsbach
http://www.ryerson.ca/mylanguage/lap.html

then Annik De Houwer has written a lot on BFLA (bilingual first language
acquisition) and ESLA (early second language acquisition) very useful in the
context of young preschool children f.ex.

I'm participating in the Barcelona summer school of bilingualism and
multilingualism and today I came across this article in relation to
discussions on the silent period, perhaps you can make use of that as well,

Efni: Bilingual or multilingual toddlers.

To those of you, who I meat in Barcelona, thank you for wonderful days. I
am already looking forward to meet some of you at the REYLL conference in
Rome November. Or it might be that we meet at the next EECERA conference in
Dublin next year.

The main reason for this e-mail is to get in contact with researchers,
project-groups or publications, with relevance for my project, which seeks
to get new knowledge about infant bi-/multilingual toddlers (age 1 – 2
years). My particular interest is toddlers from bi-/multilingual families,
and where the infant toddler are in mainstream kindergartens.

I hope this “snowballing” result in a number of replays. So, I hope you are
willing response this e-mail by sending me information that can help me.
That will be a great contribution to my project.

Sincerely,
