Introduction to Dyscalculia in FE/HE

This is an introductory level course for those who have little or no previous knowledge and experience of dyscalculia. The day is offered as a gentle introduction to the subject, exploring what is dyscalculia and issues that arise in FE/HE.

The workshop aims to:

* Give a greater understanding of dyscalculia in FE/HE

* Give a greater insight into why dyscalculic students struggle

* Help understand the social and academic issues dyscalculic students face

* Enable participants to identify issues and some coping strategies

The day includes a combination of presentations, practical group work and discussion.

The cost of the day is £75, including tea/coffee and lunch.
