Dear All

This year’s joint GGS/PAG professional training programme on ground-gas monitoring, risk assessment and protection has been very successful with over 60 delegates having booked on events. Designed for both existing practitioners and technical staff new to the subject, we have found the course to be very popular with local authority regulators, consultants and developers. And the feedback has been excellent:

“Fantastic background knowledge, presenters willing to answer questions and explain issues.” - Wolverhampton

“Excellent training course, great range of topics covered and very well structured.” - Falkirk

“As a contractor I feel it is essential to have knowledge of a ground-gas testing and membrane installation – this does it!” - Hull

The two day events cover the latest in ground-gas monitoring techniques, risk assessment and best practice in gas remediation and protection.  This year’s course has been updated to include the new CIRIA guidance including C735 on verification.

The training is designed for consultants, regulators and developers who wish to learn how improved ground-gas characterisation and risk assessment can lead to better quality decision making and time and cost savings.  Delegates will also learn how best practice in gas protection installation and verification can avoid construction delays.
