Hi There's a huge number of articles - this broad search in Google Scholar http://scholar.google.co.uk/scholar?q=folklore+labyrinth+OR+maze+-pan%27s+-refereed+-law+-corps&btnG=&hl=en&as_sdt=1%2C5&as_ylo=1990&as_vis=1 shows more than 4,500 articles since 1990, although you may want to add more limiters to reduce it to a more manageable level. If you put in 'magic' you will get a lot of unwelcome science results.
