Dear All,

So happy that Fides and Ramen join the AACORN network! Welcome! They „move forward“ (to use a kinetic metaphor ;-) the young research field that looks at dance, choreography and organisation (see forthcoming special issue in Organizational Aesthetics) and many researchers already are looking forward to their future work and workshops!

In his other life, he is a senior amateur 10-dancer (dancing both Ballroom and Latin American styles), together with his co-author and partner, Fides Matzdorf, who is Senior Research Fellow at Sheffield Business School. Fides has a background in learning and 'facilitating learning'. She has degrees in English Language & Linguistics (Staatsexamen), Applied Linguistics (M.A.), Management Learning (M.A.). Fides has been working with facilities managers in public sector organisations for nearly 20 years, co-ordinating CPD events and undertaking commissioned research projects. She discovered another side to research through dancesport and is now looking at how dance can help people to develop in leadership/followership. Fides had a major 'awakening' at AoMO 2014 and doesn't want to go to sleep again!!!
>> Using both work and serious play, together they are working on papers, presentations and workshops on leadership, followership and dance, using their different strengths, approaches and perspectives to complement each other. Ramen and Fides are winners of the 2015 UK Senior 10-Dance.
