As you may know, 2016 will be a pivotal year for global drug policy, as the
United Nations is carrying out a General Assembly Special Session on the
topic. This process, known as UNGASS, will review the successes and
challenges of global drug policy throughout the last 50 years.
To input into the official consultation process of the United Nation’s
review of global drug policy, Mr Michal Boni, of the European People’s
Party, has the honour of officially inviting you to take part in an event
on this topic.
During the event, European institutions as well as civil society
organizations will present their points of view regarding global drug
policy. We also seek to provide a forum for extensive audience
participation.
