Dear Colleagues
Re. Disciplinary approaches to connecting the higher education curriculum (working title)
Edited by Dr Dilly Fung, Dr Vincent Tong and Dr Brent Carnell
As part of the UCL Connected Curriculum, a major research-based education strategy at University College London, proposals are invited from education developers, subject-based disciplinary academics, and students, to be part of an edited book that will bring together education enhancement examples in practice that align with the Connected Curriculum principles. The selection panel will ensure a wide geographical and disciplinary range of work is included.
• Read more about UCL’s Connected Curriculum<http://www.ucl.ac.uk/connectedcurriculum>.
Authors are invited to submit a proposal to take one of two approaches, both heavily influenced by practice: either a 5000 word scholarly chapter, or a short 500 word case study vignette succinctly outlining a relevant curriculum enhancement example. While approximately 15 chapter proposals will be accepted, the selection panel will endeavour to include as many short case study vignettes as possible, in this book and in a parallel monograph.
Further details, including submission templates, can be found by visiting http://www.ucl.ac.uk/teaching-learning/connected-curriculum/research
The deadline for 500 word proposals is 10 January 2016. Final contributions will be expected by September 2016.
