Following the success of last year’s pilot mentoring programme, the IRMS is now launching its 2015-16 Mentoring programme. 
 
The IRMS mentoring programme is designed to help IRMS members embarking upon their careers as information and records managers to receive the best possible guidance, advice and encouragement during their early years. 
 
If you apply to be mentored, the IRMS will attempt to find a suitable mentor for you from our pool of 'willing' volunteer mentors to support you. Our mentors are all members of the Information and Records Management Society (IRMS) who have at least 5 years relevant and substantial professional experience.

Of course, this project is ultimately dependent on the number of mentors available at any time, so we are also looking to for more IRMS volunteers too.
