	Giddy night is more than a container 

	The sources of stupidity lie within 

	Watch how your imagination copies 

	your imagination

	Yes, it�s the night, the goddam night 

	full of kitschy previews hard-wired 

	to soap plots and merciless roundabouts 

	of a house, a saucerful of spectres 

	an unmemorable mess of misalignments 

	of thought and action, though it seems plausible 

	� 

	It�s merely vertiginous, yes, even a dream 

	of falling, but at least for once before you fall 

	you realise you don�t care about the toss 

	� 

	Waking life might be life, life might be what it is 

	you fall over it enough 

	knock the cup from the table
