The School of Computing, Electronics and Mathematics within the Faculty of Science and Engineering is seeking to appoint an appropriate individual to strengthen and complement the teaching and research activity of its Centre for Security, Communications and Network Research (CSCAN). You must be able to demonstrate a significant commitment to, and experience in teaching & learning, specifically within the field of computer networking.

You will be expected to contribute to the school’s undergraduate and postgraduate courses, which may involve summer schools together with CPD and other widening participation activities. You will also be expected to take part in curriculum development and course management as required. It is highly desirable that your research expertise will align with that of the CSCAN research centre. You should hold a PhD in a relevant discipline and be able to demonstrate an established track-record in research. Applicants with appropriate professional certifications are particularly encouraged.

This is a full-time post working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
