Dear all,

We would like to announce that videos from the recent Cultivating Innovation interdisciplinary conference are now available to view online:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnpF9RQ-5hpzIDO_jSerJ0g/videos

The conference, and project, were dedicated to the role of intellectual property in the plant sciences (and plant breeding in particular) from a range of historical, economic, philosophical and scientific perspectives. The videos include the keynote address given by Professor Daniel Kevles.

We have also today released online two new teaching materials (a pamphlet and discussion prompts), that can introduce students (17+) to intellectual property from the broader perspective developed by Gregory Radick and Christine MacLeod.
The teaching resources (Intellectual Ownership: Understanding the Work of Ideas, and Understanding Intellectual Ownership) can be found here:

We would greatly appreciate any feedback on these materials, suggestions for improvement, and so on.

The IP-narrow/IP-broad framework that these materials were based on was published by Radick and MacLeod in 2013, and can be found here:

Thank you,
Dominic Berry
