Applications are welcomed from suitably qualified candidates for the permanent appointment of a Practitioner in Public Relations and Magazine Journalism at the University of Huddersfield to contribute to the strategic development of a thriving subject team. You will be able to contribute teaching in Public Relations including a leading role in employability/consultation. It would also be beneficial to be able to contribute to teaching in Magazine Journalism and On-Line/Multi-platform Journalism. Experience of working in the Public Relations/journalism industry is essential, and you will be expected to maintain industry contacts and networks to enhance the student experience. Journalism and Media has an excellent record of preparing its students for employment and you will be expected to make strategic contribution to developments in this field.

The post will involve the delivery of theoretical and practical modules across the Journalism suite of courses and contribution to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, including pastoral duties and academic administration.

A First Degree is an essential requirement for this role.
