Twitter and Blogging: Improvers' Workshop - Ned Potter
Date: Thursday, 24 September 2015 - 10:00am to 4:30pm
Venue: Euston House, 24 Eversholt Street, London NW1 1AD

Feedback from previous workshop
"Excellent course. I learnt a lot and look forward to putting it into practice"
"Ned is great - very personable"
"Couldn't fault it. Exactly what I hoped would be covered."

Course Outline:
For many information services, blogs and twitter are the two most important tools for communicating online. This course moves beyond the basics of what these tools are and why to use them, and focuses on how to use them more effectively (and strategically), how to sustain use over time, how to build an audience and a larger network, how to analyse your own activity, and how to measure the impact of your social media use. As this is an 'Improvers' level course, delegates will be invited ahead of time to submit specific issues, queries or points of interest they'd like to focus on during the workshop.

Who should attend:
This course is aimed at anyone who already has experience of social media but wants to explore other online tools and how they can be used for effective digital communication.

This course supports the following elements of CILIP's PKSB:
11. Customer Focus, Service Design and Marketing: 11.1 Strategic marketing
11. Customer Focus, Service Design and Marketing: 11.2 Communicating with stakeholders
