Visit to the Wiener Library
The Wiener Library was founded in December 1933, in direct response to the Nazis coming to power in Germany. Working from Amsterdam, its remit was to collect and disseminate accurate information about Nazi policies and their cumulative persecution of Jews, anti-fascists and others deemed undesirable. Today the Library has a unique collection of material from the time detailing the curtailing of human rights under the Nazis, including significant holdings of rare ephemera. This tour will give an overview of these holdings, as well as archival and photographic collections.

Visit to the Keep
The Keep is a world-class centre for archives that opens up access to all the collections of the East Sussex Record Office (ESRO), the Royal Pavilion & Museums Local History Collections and the internationally significant University of Sussex Special Collections. It is also a centre of excellence for conservation and preservation and represents the new generation of archive buildings in the UK. The visit will include a tour of The Keep, a talk about the building and partnership, plus an introduction to the archives and special collections.

Visit to the George Padmore Institute
The George Padmore Institute and New Beacon Bookshop is a specialist Black British History Archive. Their collections include newspapers, journals, ephemera, photographs and audio material from the UK and Caribbean. They have archives from many important ground-breaking institutions including Caribbean Artists Movement, Black Parents Movement and the Black Education Movement. The bookshop New Beacon Books is Britain's first black publisher and bookshop. They are both located a short walk from Finsbury Park station and the visit will include a tour of the archive and a talk from the archivist. There will also be the opportunity to visit the bookshop.

Supporting Staff and Students with Autism and Learning Disorders
This event is about the provision of support for staff and students in higher education institutions with autism and learning disorders, and will consist of a speaker from a HE institution who is Head of Disability and Dyslexia Services and also a PhD student from a HE institution who will be speaking about their experiences at their own institutions. A short video will be shown about an autistic student at university speaking about their experience. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to exchange experiences and practices from their own institutions.

eCollections Management Workshop
This workshop will discuss and explain the fundamentals of e-resources collection development and management. The presentations will focus on electronic collection types that are central elements of digital libraries today and also viewed as areas of growth for the future. Presentations will be given by Librarians experienced in these fields. This workshop will be of interest to library staff who are interested in working in eCollections Management, or who would like an introduction to the issues and opportunities in this area.
