Dear all, University of Leeds Library are recruiting, please see below: Customer Services Assistant Manager – Brotherton Library https://jobs.leeds.ac.uk/vacancy.aspx?ref=CSLIB1046 This post has a strong focus on staff management and deployment, as well as contributing to the development of policy and practice. You will work with other managers to develop performance standards and ensure consistency of service across all the libraries. In the first instance you will be based in the Brotherton Library, working in both the main library and in Special Collections. All staff are expected to be able to work in any of our libraries. You should have substantial relevant experience of library work, particularly in a customer-facing role, with a thorough knowledge of library systems and processes, and best practice in customer service. You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be confident in training others. Self-managing, you’ll be able to balance and prioritise your busy workload and have an innovative approach to service development. You will also have confidence in the use and application of IT in libraries.
