Hi everyone, I am starting to develop some explorer packs for one of our museums sites and I wondered if anyone could share with me their experiences of doing this? I was thinking about having a treasure map (as the Museum is maritime themed) to accompany the props and have the pretending and exploring be the activity, rather than having something like a trail for example. I don't want the children to have too many things to try and do at once. I'm going to be doing some consultation with families, but I wondered what the Museum Educator point of view was on this. What have you found works well and what doesn't? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm happy to share the responses.
