The workshop is organised by the Leicester Castle tells its story project, which is funded by the Digital R&D Fund for the Arts to explore the potential of iBeacon-based mobile interpretation in historic sites. The day will involve talks and Q&A sessions on iBeacons and how we used them at the Castle, as well as practical, hands-on session where you can design your own iBeacon tour using Locly's platform. If you are interested to find out what iBeacons are and how they work, or have ideas for mobile tours that could be based on iBeacon technology, please do bring them along and/or get in touch.
