Hi guys,

Really these files get deleted now?

I still can see a few files from 2012-2013, all files sit on the server dedicated for the ESM software.

Even after successful upload files should be there.

Thanks for this. I found the path, but as you say, the files have been deleted, so I don’t understand why Edexcel are asking me to re-send the test files.  Seems they don’t understand their own software!

Log onto your ESM server via a browser and click on the link to “Configure” towards the top right of the screen. Then on the General tab is a data path. You or your IT need to follow this to find the files but beware they delete once they have uploaded.

We had this problem also with just 1 of our students, we (Exams and IT) also couldn’t find the folder that we were directed too and after numerous conversations with Edexcel we had to ask the student to resit.  Not the outcome I wanted but we couldn’t find the file and Edexcel wouldn’t accept our evidence that the student had definitely attended the exam.

Hi,

 

We’re having issues where some of our students are being recorded on Edexcel Online as ‘No show’, although I have clear evidence that they sat the tests.  Edexcel have asked me to send them the students’ test files via Secure File Transfer, but we’re having trouble locating them and despite 3 phone calls and 2 emails, they’re unable to assist me.  They did say there should be a folder, possible under c:\ called Shared Folder or ESM_Test_Centre, but neither myself or our IT team can find it.  Can anyone offer any advice?
