I had a heads up from one of our maths tutors that the Edexcel on-screen marking system may have ‘issues’ that meant that some scores for specific questions may not have been reported correctly, giving false results.  We’ve agreed to send students to the maths department in the first instance for a detailed analysis of their papers (via Results Plus) and if they spot these anomalies they will tell the students request a re-mark (rather than a re-check, which may not pick up the original question scores if they were never confirmed correctly on the paper).

 

It will be interesting to see how this pans out!

Hi All,

 

I hope you all survived another results day! Sorry to ask when you probably all just want to unwind from yesterday…..not sure if anyone gets time to unwind seems an endless round of jumping from one busy period to the next!

 

Just wondering if anyone can help me regarding  Pearson’s GCSE Maths Higher paper marks - would anyone be willing to let me know how their learners go on.   Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
